Mama Update: Well I bet you didn't think that I could make things more complicated, right? I DID! I am having surgery tomorrow morning at 8 to remove a piece of plastic from my drain. It was left inside when the doctors attempted to remove the drain and it snapped off. I will go under general anesthesia and will hopefully be in and out quickly. I was sadly turned down when I asked if the surgeon could remove my gallbladder at the same time. I still get to look forward to yet another surgery in probably 2 months. I am recovering really well from the c-section which went perfectly.

2 Days Old
Ryan and I have been thoroughly enjoying our rest time at the hospital. We find ourselves asleep and snuggling together most of the time.

1 Day Old
Ryan is one day old. Ellie and Grandma came to the hospital to visit. Ellie has been taking full advantage of Grandma as you can see. She colored on herself and made herself look so pretty!

Visitors
After our busy morning we rested up and then got ready for our visitors. Ryan got his first bath while mom watched from bed. Grandpa & Grandma Powell, Aunt Lisa, Daddy, Hannah, Jacob & Ellie all came to the hospital to meet our newest little family member. The kids were just thrilled with him and couldn't take their eyes (and hands) off of him.
