Happy 11 Years!

Today Brent and I have been married for 11 years!  We get to spend it at the ward campout with our kiddos.  Actually Brent is going to come back home to sleep because he needs his CPAP in order to sleep well.  He is going to bring Ryan home with him too.  Haha... happy anniversary to us!

Unexpected Trip to Idaho

Brent's best friend growing up, Ryan Ricks, passed away last week from cancer.   We made an unexpected trip up to Idaho for the funeral from July 19-23.  It was a beautiful service and it was wonderful to meet Ryan's family and show them our support.  It was good for Brent to have that closure as well.  They told a fun story at the funeral about Brent sleeping over at Ryan's house and eating a sandwich full of hot sauce, which he thought was jam.  Brent threw the sandwich outside and the cat ended up eating it.  That poor cat was never the same after that!  Ryan was a great man and will be sorely missed.

Clarice and her kiddos happened to be visiting Grandpa & Grandma as well and so the kids got to catch up with Hodgkinson cousins and Luke (Ian & Becky) cousins.  Hannah, Bailey, and Ashley were inseperable!  They had lots of fun together with only one little disagreement.  Brent and I got to go to the temple and we just thoroughly enjoyed seeing family.  

 I got these bruises when I dropped off Daisy at the Bratt's house and her cage got caught in the van door.  I stuck my arm in to try and detach it and got mushed.  Ya... it was fun.

We went to the library today and ran into both of the kids' teachers from last year!  Mrs. Reagan and Ms. Nolke.  It was fun to see them.

Promenade Shop Summer Fun

Today we went to the Promanade Shops summer activity.  The theme was science.  The kids had lots of fun painting, getting their faces painted, and making some fun crafts.

  

Bratt Kids - Day 4

Heather and Ethan are on their way home!  They were getting ready to fly home from Arizona and sent the kids a picture of themselves on the airplane.  This was the kids response that I sent to mom & dad.  So excited!

Happy Birthday to Me...

Jacob was mad at me today (my birthday) for limiting his screen time. "I'm only going to make one present for you. I made 3 for dad, but I am only making one for you." Nice. Love you too buddy.

Braces

Hannah got her braces on today.  She still has the expander as well.  It's been a rough day, but it will all be worth it for that beautiful smile in the end!

Ryan spends hours under this toy.  He loves to look at everything and is even starting to use his hands to hit at things.
